DIY: 1-hour canvas prints.

inspiration:

the other day i was walking through walmart and saw these.
i thought they had some potential, so i took a picture and decided i'd try making one myself.
so i did. and it was way easier than i thought!
i've made two this week, that's how easy they are.

supplies:
blank canvas (any size)
tape or stickers
paint and paintbrush

instructions:
the first one i did by using scotch tape.
i taped straight lines all the way across the bottom.
then i started on my letters.
i simply made letters out of tape and scissors.
or you can also use stickers - that's what i did for my second one.
just make sure the stickers are sticky - mine had a hard time staying on the canvas.
next, after placing all the tape or stickers on your canvas,
paint entirely over the whole thing.
[make sure that everything you want left white has been covered by tape or stickers.]
let it dry completely, and then carefully remove the tape/stickers.
then lucky for you, you have a cute new art piece to display.  easy as that.

and seriously, it took me less than an hour.
