i'm pretty sure this picture could speak for itself, but here's the story.
we had recently graduated from high school, and being the BFFs we are, kay got to come on my family senior trip with us. we flew back to NYC and were going to spend 10 days driving across the country home [which has plenty more stories to share...].
the first night we arrived, the first thing on our list was some much needed pool time. because it was cool to match in everything we did [and wore] we putting on the twinner swimsuits [which were actually both mine], our black shorts and headed down to the lobby. when we arrived we noticed the man in the hot dog suit and obviously needed a picture. he told us it was "national hot dog day" and they had been giving out free hot dogs all day. we were bummed we missed that. so we got our picture and went on our way to the pool.
we thought that was the end of it...little did we know! the next morning we were down eating our continental breakfast, probably laughing hysterically and judging all the other people in their pajamas [even though we were too]. next thing we know a woman walks up to us and says, "are you two the girls that took the picture with the hot dog man last night?!" our initial reaction was, weren't there a hundred people that took pictures with him last night? so we said, "uhh.....yeah." then the lady just walked away. "well that was weird...."
we finished up our breakfast and are about to leave. "wait! girls, wait!" this woman is running towards us with these large gifts in her hands, all wrapped and everything. she hands one to each us, we tell her thanks, and carry them upstairs to our room. by this point we are curious as can be. we quickly rip off the wrapping paper, and lo and behold, a giant 8x10 wood frame with a huge picture of us with the hot dog man. our free gift from the hotel. and a request asking if they can put our picture on their website.
i don't know if i've ever laughed so hard in my whole life.
you want my picture with the hot dog man on your website? go for it.
and you tell me what you do with a giant 8x10 frame of you with the hot dog man.
i should get that puppy out and display it....
because you know, everyone wants their picture in their swimsuit with a hot dog man!
